Cumberland County families and individuals brace for the impending struggle to stock their pantries this holiday season, as SNAP benefits will not be distributed come November 1st. Over 15% of Pennsylvanians depend on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program to make ends meet and put food on their table. This includes neighbors, veterans, single parents, disabled, and many others working multiple jobs to cover their very basic needs.
